The LMSA Southwest Region provides conference travel scholarships to medical and premedical students from Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Colorado. Aimed at easing the financial strain associated with medical education, these scholarships cover various costs such as conference travel expenses, hotel accommodations, food, etc. Although the number and value of these scholarships can vary annually, LMSA Southwest is dedicated to consistently supporting its members. This support is extended through direct awards or guiding students toward additional funding sources.
