Texas A&M College of Medicine has 8 early assurance programs for high school seniors in Texas, Texas A&M students, Prairie View A&M Students and Military Cadets.

EnMed

EnMed is a medical school option for students who are not only interested in diagnosing and treating medical problems, but also want the skills to design and create innovative technological solutions to address healthcare’s greatest challenges.
At EnMed, call these new kinds of doctors “physicianeers.”
Developed in a partnership with the Texas A&M College of Engineering, Texas A&M College of Medicine and Houston Methodist Hospital, EnMed takes place completely in the famed Texas Medical Center in Houston, Texas.
At EnMed, students will:
  • Gain experience contributing to all parts of the innovation process through research, design and commercialization projects;
  • Engage in a fully integrated medical and engineering curriculum focused on innovation and entrepreneurship;
  • Pursue the design and efficiency of innovative medical technologies to advance patient care and clinical practice.
