Due to the unforeseen circumstances caused by COVID-19, the LMSA National Board voted to move all LMSA Regional and National conferences to a virtual platform. For the past several years, LMSA has relied on the Socio application for our conference needs. This year, they have allowed us to convert our in person conferences and to a fantastic virtual experience for our LMSA members to use.
All LMSA conference is available on LMSA Hub app. The app can be purchased for free on the Apple store, Google Play store, or the Socio Web Online browser. When you open the app, find the LMSA Southwest Conference and enter the password you received upon registry of the conference. Once in the app, you will be able scroll through the tabs to check out the various features, such as the agenda, speakers, and exhibitors. Moreover, LMSA Hub has an excellent networking framework. Click on various profiles and connect with other medical students in the Southwest Region. For a quick video tour of the app, please view our tutorial video. Additionally, we will be playing a game on the app and raffle off some prizes at the gala. Keep a lookout for secret clues (such as TUTORIAL) throughout the conference day to earn points and be entered in the raffle! |
